Clean comfortable quiet room

Gardener strimming around edge of patio in evening while guests sitting there with drinks. Noise, dust and grass trimmings everywhere.

quiet location just out of town, but easy to walk into town. Nice outside seating area and bar. Good breakfast. Evening meal was good.

Nothing to dislike.

The location was excellent as it was just outside of the town centre. After eating in the town , it was a lovely 15 minute walk along the lane over the river with fantastic views of the castle along the way. The room and bathroom were very clean. Service was excellent throughout our stay and the breakfast was top notch. We will definitely aim to stay here again.

Due to us staying during a heatwave and the room being on the top floor, it would have been greatly beneficial to have a fan provided in the room. ( Fortunately we had brought our own) .

Location was great and it was chilled

Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a twin room which was of adequate size for us as we like to be out and about and we don't spend much time in the room. We had a very good breakfast, and again, the staff were very helpful at all times. The hotel is within walking distance of the town centre. Some of the walk does include walking up hill so some may find this difficult.

My husband found the mattress too hard but we were both struggling to sleep due to the heatwave. Air conditioning would have been a welcome addition.

Breakfast good but no buffet and therefore no additional juice.

Room was at the top of the building, only 1 small opening window, no air conditioning and no fan in the room. Had breakfast in the conservatory, very warm, no overhead fan and no open windows, too warm.
