Poor wi fi coverage

I had booked an evening meal. As we were setting off from Kent,car developed battery problem.Subsequently arranged for local garage to fit replacement. I telephoned the hotel to advise that would arrive a little later than statedbut would require the evening meal. Whilst on route, I again telephoned the hotel and gave an approx time of arrival. Duly arrived at the hotel at 8.10pm, and spoke to the receptionist, who stated that meals stopped at 8pm. Asked if some sort of meal could be provided,even sandwiches and the answer was "No" Made our way into Ludlow and found that a fair was being set up and the main town area was closed. Luckily found a Chinese takeaway and ordered a meal,[not really what we had wanted]. I was extremely dissapointed with the service of the Cliff at Dinham, and wont use it again. The next day evening meal was mediocre, and expensive for what it was. The staff were more interested in selling expensive wine.

Good quiet position

The breakfast was over cooked. The pouched egg was hard and over cooked. The bacon was also over cooked and very dry.

Friendly staff, nice rooms with comfortable beds. Can walk into Ludlow, but it’s a steep walk up hill. Lovely breakfast, and the dinner at the restaurant was really nice for dinner.

Staff were excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for walking into Ludlow if you are reasonably fit. Plenty of free onsite parking. Restaurant was good, nice food and good service for evening meals.

Could have had better toiletries in room (small single use bottles only enough for one person). Breakfast was adequate.

Good location - pleasant surroundings. Very friendly staff.

Bedrooms two floors up was a challenge without a lift, but ok.
