"Very Good"

7.0

Room was spacious and spotless. Location was lovely.

We waited nearly and hour to be served our evening meal. There was a problem in the kitchen. But we should have been told there was going to be a long delay for food. We then could have made a decision to stay or go elsewhere.

"Perfect!"

10.0

Lovely cottage with modern decor - perfect for us and our dog. We really enjoyed the evening dinner and breakfast and could take our pooch to a bar area which was fine. The food was exceptional although not cheap; worth it for a special stay though. Staff were all so kind and friendly, and we look forward to staying again on our return drive from the Lake District.

All was good.

"Nice property, great location, but not a hotel."

6.0

The breakfast was lovely, dog owners take breakfast in entrance waiting area ( see below). The loation was great, 20 mins to reach castle Free parking Had fish & chip lunch whilst waiting for room, which was tasty. Dogs accepted only £10 p/n p/ dog. The bathroom was large and modern ( shower head excepted).

This is not a hotel , it is a restaurant with rooms, which isnt what is advertised. The 'lounge' is in the entrance/waiting area with no facilities other than a few leaflets. It has no atmosphere at all. My deluxe king didnt look at all like the photo. The bed was superking but had cheap flat pack furniture. I was early, but had to wait 20 mins over the check in time for room despite 2 other parties arriving and receiving their keys first . The receptionists are very perfunctuary but not really friendly . I didnt feel welcomed, merely tolerated, unfortunately.

"A good place to stay in Ludlow"

9.0

This is a great location for visiting Ludlow, particularly as there is plenty of free parking. The hotel is located by the river with a view of the castle and just a short walk into town. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent food and a comfortable room. We have stayed here previously and would do so again. Very dog-friendly.

Nothing really. It was as we expected

"Well located hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast but the accommodation didn’t live up to expectations."

7.0

Great location. Good sized room and bathroom. Very clean.

We were in one of the cottage rooms separate from the main building - the room was cold, as was the bathroom and none of the radiators responded to being turned up. The pillows were very thin, lumpy and uncomfortable.
