The hotel staff was extremely kind and accommodating. My room was large, clean, and quiet. I was impressed with the amount of space for the amount of money that I spent. It was a lot of space and I didn't spend a ton of money on this room. The location is accessible to the main part of the city.

If you wanted to park in their parking lot, it was expensive at $25 a night which was about 14% of what I paid for the hotel room. The staff did kindly let me know that I could park across the street for free. The breakfast waffles were delicious, but the rest of the breakfast food didn't seem filling, and the oatmeal was cold. The eggs and sausage looked un-edible.

My heart is so full of gratitude for the Excellent and Kind Management and Staff at Residence Inn Birmingham UAB! We had a family emergency that required us to stay for about 3 weeks. We also needed special accommodations (newborn twins, 3 &4 year old, adult needing ADA room…). KeKe, Deborah, and many others including housekeeping went out of their way to help our family. I wish I knew all of their names. They are remembered in my prayers of gratitude to God as I thank Him for healing my precious 4 year old granddaughter and for the beautiful kindness and generosity that was shown to us by those working at the Residence Inn. Bed was extremely hard

The Breakfast was Truly Exceptional. Miriam, the Chef, prepared a truly delicious meal. The way the eggs tasted reminded me of home cooking!!! The entire Staff was awesome too. Check-in went smooth and the receptionist that checked me in was very friendly and caring. When I checked out, Lachelle, the receptionist was very kind and asked me how was my stay and I told her, “Outstanding!” All the staff here want to make you feel comfortable, welcome, and safe. Marriot has continued to earn my trust, loyalty, and my business!

When I arrived at this location (20th Street South-UAB area), Kristie the front desk clerk greeted me with kindness and professionalism. I had quite a few questions to ask her on several occasions and each time, my questions were answered with the full attention to make sure I was satisfied. The room was very clean and I slept peacefully without any unnecessary loud guests. The continental breakfast that was included in the overall price was quite excellent without having any complaints coming from me. I'm hoping to stay at this location next time I travel to Birmingham. It's people like Kristie and the overall positive experience that I enjoyed are reasons why I have no problem choosing this location again. Thank you again Kristie for helping to add a very pleasant experience during my visit.
