Some staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner was ok. The rooms were clean and the facility was well maintained.

Some staff especially kitchen staff were rude and unfriendly. The bathroom sink had a blockage which caused a foul odor from the bathroom area but it was fixed after contacting the reception. The bathroom towels were old and stained

Breakfast was decent other than this cannot think of any!!

Room not allocated as promised in the website and extra money collected for sea view room, poor response to issues raised to team or to the management. Property in general is under maintenance/repairs and rooms are in average condition.

We had the pleasure of staying at Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa for 7 wonderful days, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality of the entire team made us feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy our stay. We are incredibly grateful to Victorina from reservations for her efficiency and helpfulness, and to Beryl and Collins at the front desk for always greeting us with a smile and assisting us so kindly. The food and beverage experience was exceptional, thanks to Jack and his team. A heartfelt thank you to Irene, Benjamin, Jane, Asha, and Faridah for their attentive and friendly service — you truly made every meal special. We also deeply appreciate the housekeeping staff for maintaining our room beautifully throughout our stay, and a special mention to the security guard and his lovely dog Tom, who added such a unique and welcoming touch to our daily walks. To everyone who contributed in big and small ways — thank you for making our trip so memorable. We leave with wonderful memories and look forward to returning again soon. Highly recommended!

The service at the hotel is generally very friendly and courteous. Suitcases are carried on arrival, sun loungers are prepared daily with mats, cushions and towels on the beach, and high-quality toiletries are provided in the rooms. The rooms are lovingly decorated in the local style, the beds are very comfortable and the room service works perfectly. A special highlight are the many monkeys on the grounds. There are even "monkey hunters" who protect the buffet from the little thieves. The animals are very cute and trusting.

Unfortunately, there are also some weaknesses. The buffet lacks variety for a longer stay, and the menus quickly become repetitive. Snacks outside of meal times often take a long time to arrive. The infrastructure is also presented much better on the website than it is in reality. The nightclub is unusable, the Lift is out of order. The Hotel is not wheelchair accessible and the Spa Area cannot be used either. There are several unused and dilapidated areas. The evening programme and entertainment are also rather poor. However, what really makes the stay stressful are the extremely pushy beach boys on the beach. Every five to ten minutes, you are approached by staff, mostly to sell excursions. You hardly get any peace. This is particularly unpleasant for women without male companions. We had to constantly fend them off. In one case, a phone number was even taken from internal data to send flirtatious messages via WhatsApp – an absolute no-go!We spoke to the hotel manager about the internal data protection issue and felt that he took us seriously. Conclusion: Friendly service and nice rooms, but the reality does not quite match the online description. For women travelling alone or without male companions, the stay is unfortunately very stressful due to the constant approaches.

Il est en cours de rénovation. Les parties utilisées sont finis et donc nickel mais il reste une des piscines, le spa ainsi qu'un bâtiment à renover.

This is a premier location within Diani Beach.  Security is excellent.  Every member of the staff here is courteous and professional.  This was my second stay at this location.  The first was the summer of 2023 and honestly, they have not missed a beat.   The meals that they prepare and the spirit that they exhibit while preparing and serving food is top notch.  You can come here and truly feel relaxed.   Also, if you need a refreshing drink, find Eric, the master mixologist at the bar.  Shower pressure and water heat could be better. It's manageable but I do wish it were better.  It's not a deal breaker however.
