Nice facilities, a bit pricey but great all round

Slightly out of the way but the room was great and spacious, the onsen isn't huge but there is an indoor and outdoor section. No private baths, if that was something you'd want. Staff service exceptional.

Le personnel est extremement gentil , l'hospitalité japonaise au sommet! l'hotel est très bien entretenu, très propre. La chambre a peu d'interet mais elle est propre et pratique, et peu importe car le centre d'interet de l'hotel est son magnifique onsen. le lobby est tres agreable egalement. et Kiso est le point de depart de plus randonnées. Rien a voir avec l'hotel: pour y arriver, je conseille de prendre un medicament contre le mal de transports car le train passe dans les montagnes et j'y ai eu une experience horrible.

Glad that I was given the tatami room at the main building instead of the Annex building. Staff service is impeccable. Onsen is really very nice, though the outdoor onsen is a bit odd.

Quite a walk from Kiso Fukushima station. Meals are not included in the base room fare. Thought that dinner is rather expensive, so I just bought the breakfast set. Good thing is that there are still some decent nearby restaurants that are still open in the evening.

Beautiful location close to the edo-era houses. We could not use the onsen because we have tattoos but that was to be expected so it didn't ruin our stay.
