The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file. Breakfast was excellent. I was with a walking tour group and we had Japanese breakfasts each day. As an option you could also have a western style breakfast which was also very good.

Nothing really. I came to walk the nakasendo and enjoy Japan and its culture including the outdoors.

"Un bellissimo ryokan sulla storica strada nei monti giapponesi"

Pranzo e colazione Kaiseki con possibilità di chiedere anche colazione all'occidentale, tutto buonissimo e abbondante. Molto interessante la cena a tema storico su come fosse la cena degli alti funzionari nell'epoca Edo sul Nakasendo. La stanza ampia con bagno comodo, ottima la vasca privata onsen sul terrazzo con temperatura regolabile. Posizione ideale per chi attraversa le montagne.

Il terrazzo della stanza privata richiede un po' di manutenzione, e c'era solo una sedia disponibile per sedersi fuori. Servirebbero istruzioni per regolare la temperatura dell'acqua. La onsen pubblica dell'hotel invece non è particolarmente bella

Lovely, comfortable hotel in Fukushima-juku and in a great location with great amenities and the onsen was fantastic after a long hike on Nakasendo trail. Highly recommend.

Our room was in an annex building to the main hotel but this wasn't an issue for us.

Nous avons logé dans la récente annexe qui est d'un standing très élevé, Le personnel est très accueillant et disponible Le charme des lieux et le onsen rendent l'expérience très agréable Pour un petit en cas du soir je vous recommande la glace aux myrtilles fabriquée dans la région et la numéro 1 du Japon selon le réceptionniste

Die Location und das Personal waren top. Sie haben uns hilfreiche Tipps für unsere Reise gegeben und konnten alle sehr gut englisch sprechen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sehr groß. Die onsen waren auch sehr schön und sauber.

Das Zimmer hatte nur ein kleines Fenster und war relativ dunkel. Außerdem war es etwas kalt, besonders im Bad.

"Verrassend leuk hotel aan de oude Nagasendo trail"

We hadden een prachtige kamer in het nieuwe annex gebouw, heerlijke bedden. Goede service van de receptioniste die ons een geweldig leuke izakaya aanraadde en meteen reserveerde, omdat we niet meer in het hotel konden eten. Verder ligt de accomodatie meteen aan de Nagasendo trail die wij wandelden. Lekkere onsen.
