Horrible…… please read entire review. Had to come in town for a family obligation. The reservation was made by a family member because of an excellent experience previously. Drove up seeing “under renovation and sorry for the mess” I get that. This is not a small disruption…. This is a disaster. I checked in, room set on 60 and felt like 78. Due to the renovations, there is paint splatter everywhere. Nothing seems clean. Mis matched and patch work. On its own, no big deal. When I arrived, the elevator was back up and running after days of being out of service. Go to my room, Door wouldn’t latch so put a chair against the door. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Went downstairs to explain I had work to do and needed wif. She said I was the 6th person complaining.I said “oh good, they are working on it, “she said she hadn’t called yet, Decide to go to bed early. Breakfast…. No muffins. Soggy and limp hash browns. Hard biscuits and gravy. Go to the gym instead. Treadmill didn’t work, stationary bike didn’t work, no pins for weight machines. The room was filthy. Go up to my room… room key doesn’t work because the battery is dead on the key fob. Go back Downstairs and get maintenance to let me in. Go back downstairs with a friend on the elevator. We were with another couple. The elevator broke down. All distress signals in the elevator went unanswered. Our cell phones didn’t work. After a significant a,mount of time in sweltering heat, A body building guy with us decided to pull the doors apart. We were between floors but he was able to get the doors open to freedom. We were between floors which required us jumping down to safety. He squeezed down. My friend has a knee issue and twisted it as she was getting out. She hit her head in the way out. At that moment- two managers were there. THey saw her knee give out and her hit her head. The rest of us got out. If it weren’t for that man, we would’ve been in there for many hours. There seemed to be no sense of urgency (possibly because it happened the day before). The on call staff relayed to so,some what was going on. I even heard her say “I saw the woman hit her head….okay….okay” then offered one night free. The issues from the night before should’ve been an additional comp,night. In no way am I blaming the staff there. They did what they could and were . Not their fault… this goes up to owners and or investors. I was told renovations won’t be complete u til the end of the year. If they last that long, God Bless them. One of the worst experiences ever. Don’t stay at this location if they are still under construction.

Overall stay was ok, but I feel I over paid for this hotel. At $130 for one night I found the room and the facilities to be lacking. First the elevator was broken, third floor room. Once arriving to the room the floor trim was coming off of the wall. I couldn’t help but notice more as things were very obvious. When using the shower, the shower curtain was too short causing water to spill on the wall and floor. Outlet covers were taped to the wall. And I’m not a coding expert but I feel like the fire suppression system sprinklers are supposed to be exposed from behind the ceilings.

Stay was good

Property was clean and staff were very attentive. There was remodeling going on but it didn’t affect our stay. The only negative was the elevator was having some issues. My daughter and grandkids were a little freaked out. I would definitely recommend this property and will stay again when I’m in that area.

It was impossible for me to figure out the TV remote and to select a program to watch. I could not get it to relate to the TV. Far too complicated.

Everything was okay at first until we got back from our event, the rooms was completely wet, we had to bags in the closet full of water, we slept in hoodies because the humidity in the room, our bags, sheets, clothes everything was saturated. I asked the staff, and they said yes it has been an issue. They NEED de-humidifiers in the rooms. The rooms where cool because of the AC units just full of water in the air. The other issue was breakfast, there was hardly any food, we had to wait for biscuits and bagels, no fruit, no bacon none of the usual stuff that we normally get when we stayed there in the past.

The hallway was in need of vacuuming. The restroom was organized but the tub and toilet were dirty. (It had poop) The breakfast was not good, it was limited, greasy and burnt. Sheets and curtains had stains.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Like the convenience of pre check in from your phone, I just showed them the confirmation and got my key! Room was tidy.
