Megasaray Resort Side

Mega godt og lækkert spisemuligheder. Blandt andet personalerne i baren, i rengøringen, tjenerne og baren var mega søde, hjælpsomme og smilende. Rengøringen var fantastisk. Klart anbefales!!!!

Overall, great stay In Megasaray, which satisfied our expectations and needs. Staff are super helpful and nice. Special thanks to cooks and waiters. Great workers , super friendly and helpful! I always tipped them (which I’d encourage all guests to do), and we always got best service. Food was great. The proximity to the beach was great. Pools (there are 2!) and slides were very liked by my kids. The only thing that I wasn’t too crazy about was the nightly discos and Entertainment. I do need to say, that we were majorly jet legged, and going to bed at 9-10, and then woken up by 11-12 by the loud music and karaokes singers was far from ideal. The management were trying to offer an alternative room, but we didn’t feel like moving away from the rest of our company. Discos were done by 12, though. Overall, great stay, and we would go back.

There was a lot of food variety and it was good, lots to choose from. A la carte restaurant had really good service but the food was very average, seemed like they just microwaved most of the dishes and some came from the main restaurant. Kids facilities were really good - the water slide park was really good fun for our 3-year-old.

This resort is not for families who want to have a quiet time. They run an entertainment program every night till midnight right outside the building with all the rooms and even if you're located in the areas further away from the main stage, the music is so loud that you can hear it everywhere. If you like going to bed before midnight or have small children, that are not used to loud noise, I would not recommend this hotel. Also, the resort has done some renovations and it's of a really bad quality - towel fitting, light fitting, etc all fall apart when you touch them. We had to move rooms 3 times due to noise and leaky air conditioner. Conditioning is very poor in the rooms, the temperature wouldn't go down below 28 degrees in the rooms. The customer relations staff were lovely and very helpful but their manager was really unpleasant to deal with. When I complained about the noise and the karaoke night run by the resort he lied to my face and said they don't do karaoke night in the resort, luckily I had a photo of their weekly program to prove him wrong.

The hotel was recently renovated with a good selection of food. There is a lot to do and the facilities are great. The beach and pool area is fantastic with a wide selection of food, drinks and treats.

The staff are not friendly which maybe due to the language barrier. Most staff can't speak English. The beach is a bit of a walk from the hotel.

The rooms are newly renovated, and the beds are comfy and clean. The beach is just 5-10 min walk and you pass a lake on your way. The food choice is not bad, I liked the fact that grilled food was available all the time. Their staff is friendly and some of the barmen are super cute. I loved the gym which is not big, but provided me with all the equipment I needed to stick with my workout routine.

The noise is the biggest issue, but it seems like that in most Turkish hotels. For instance, the nearest hotel was even louder. Still, it causes a lot of trouble if you stay with your children who are used to going to bed before 11 pm (that's when the disco is over). We asked to change the room, however, they told us there were no rooms facing the other side of the building available. The other problem is the cleanness, I noticed it when I was filling my glass with juice during breakfast that it was dirty. I tried to replace it with another glass, but to my surprise found that none of them was perfectly clean so I chose the least dirty one. The good news is that despite that fact we didn't get food poisoning or diarrhea The floor was cleaned badly too. On the last day we were checking if we hadn't dropped anything under our beds and found a thick layer of dust, it looked as if they had never cleaned there.
