"Magnificent Hotel!"

We were a group of 17. The staff went out of their way to accommodate and tend to our needs. They did a magnificent private dinner for our group. We ne of the best hotels we have stayed at. The property surrounding the hotel is magically beautiful.

"The most magical experience EVER!!!"

Words come short of telling how I truly feel about my experience. I have traveled to many places, stayed at 6 star resorts, but nothing comes close Six Senses-Douro. To the amazing staff members, to the delicious food, the spa, the hotel and the Wine....absolutley Perfection, with every detail so well thought out!!!!! Im counting down the days to summer 2018 for my next stay. Until then my heart is there!!!!!! Six Senses-Douro you have set the bar very high. Thank you for the most magical experience!!!!

"Beautiful propert"

I just came back from 3 nights here with my new fiancé. The hotel is beyond gorgeous and everyone is so warm. My friend had called ahead to tell them we had just gotten engaged and there was a bottle of champagne and chocolate cake waiting for us. We ate at the hotel two nights - one night we did the BBQ and one night the main restaurant (good but slow service). Overall, I loved the place. There is a surprising amount of kids there, so just something for you to keep in mind, depending on what you are looking for.

"Luxury on the Douro River"

Great resort with boutique hotel vibe. Wine tasting library is a treat. Activities such as hiking, biking, paddle tennis and day trips made the stay memorable. Restaurants in the area are of a high standard: DOC, Quinta da Pacheca, DOP in Porto. Restaurant in the hotel had it challenges, but issues were quickly rectified.
