"Good base for exploring the area"

Excellent location with free parking. Nice warm pub and bedroom. Good meal served in the evening. Breakfast was at the sister pub just a minute up the road and was very good. Ideal as a base for exploring the area.

"Stay OK breakfast wait was disappointing."

breakfast was ok but not at the location we were staying at.

Breakfast not until 8am. Then had to wait another 30mins until a staff member arrived before we got Breakfast.

"Great location but that’s it!!!!!"

Great river side location!

Beds poor and very uncomfortable no hot water !Luke warm at best! Corridors were dirty warm and smelt like a butchers??? Strange. Breakfast was up the road in another pub, very poor selection and felt like an inconvenience!

"I have stayed in better hostels than this"

I was given a children's mattress which was smaller than a single bed to sleep on, I'm 6ft 1 so had no chance. The toilet didn't flush and wasn't clean the shower smelt like a fridge that had been turned off for a week during summer, also not clean, I went out for the evening and when I got back the whole room stank of grease as if the extractor from their kitchen was directly fed into my room, carpets were disgusting

"Adequate accommodation for 1 night stay & good location"

Accommodation was acceptable & clean. This is an old building so some of the facilities are a bit restrictive. Breakfast was served at the sister hotel which was just down the road. Breakfast was good. We had an evening meal at the Swan Taphouse which was very nice. Good location for Iron Bridge

Parking was limited but this was not a problem as managed to park across the road

Fried breakfast was tasteless 2nd morning no cereals so just had toast

Room very very tired chip/crack in sink and shower tray mattress very uncomfortable if they painted room replaced sink/shower tray and got a new mattress or at least a topper would be better

"Drinks was good and price was ok 🍻"

Area was very good room was very clean only thing that put me off was the glass at the bottom of bed to nerves for me 😟

Only thing was no hot water when we got there had to tell staff. The bed was to squeaky apart from that everything was fine 🧐
