The Swan Taphouse

The hotel was fine but the deco was a little tired - The dinner in the evening did not live up to expectations.

The food was not what was expected - the room was fine but overall the interior was a little tired

The staff were so hospitable on arrival, very attentive. The bedroom was well decorated and the views were lovely

The bathroom was dated, but it didn't mar our stay

Although our room was clean the bathroom was not - there was poop in the toilet which clearly hadn’t been flushed or cleaned in a while. The bath was dirty with black mould in the jets. Very hard bed and pillows - the top duvet on the bed had been made neat but the sheet underneath was not, we had to make it.

The staff were very friendly and the pub and room was very cute.

The location is perfect and the ability to park on site was such a bonus for Ironbridge. The staff were amazing - so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Drinks and food were great.

The cleanliness of the room itself could do with looking at. The bedding and towels - can't fault those as these were clean and fresh. A good thorough and in-depth clean of the room would be beneficial - lampshades (thick with dust), mugs for the tea were dirty, black bits from the windows were falling onto the bed when it was windy, floor of the bathroom wasn't too clean. The bathroom could do with updating too - not easy to have a shower standing up as the connection didn't allow the hot water to travel upwards and there was nowhere to put the shower head!

Convenient for Ironbridge , free parking ang good value for money
