Friendly staff , food excellent. Room decor rather dated. No hooks on any door to hang coats ..only a minor thing.

"Cosy in Eye"

I had the liver and bacon for my evening meal which was very good followed by a very tasty cheeseboard. A good selection of dishes for breakfast; I went for the smaoked mackeral with scrambled egg; again very tasty and nicely presented. The room (4) was very large and nicely furnished with a large comfortable double bed. The bathroom was a good size with a bath and a powerful shower over it; all spotlessly clean. Plenty of free parking. My only gripe was that the bedroom door has a small frosted glazed window in it which let in the light from a nearby outside light....please cover it up.

Anti COVID arrangements were impressive. It was easy to avoid breaking the distancing rules. The room was good and the bathroom with excellent shower was as good as it gets.Dinner was well cooked and very tasty.

"Great food, value and location - excellent stay"

Great place to stay. Evening meal was excellent. We stayed in a family room which was very spacious with a proper bed for our son (rather than a pull out or sofa bed). The accommodation block is located away from the road and was quiet considering the Inns location on the main road. Fantastic breakfast selection. Great value for money, would defiantly stay again.
