The Silverfjord

We had a wonderful stay at the Silverfjord! The owner was on hand when we arrived and helped us with great advice on the area. The room was beautiful and spacious and had a variety of thoughtful touches. Breakfast was the best we had in Scotland!

I had difficulty finding the hotel bases on information from Expedia. Their telephone number was also listed incorrectly making it very difficulty to get exact location. It was central to the town but not what was listed in Expedia. The room was small but very clean and it had a very cozy feel. The shared bath was fine. The hotel was a little loud in the morning because of the train but all in all, I thought it was a deal and I would stay there again.

Staff were very friendly. Lovely clean rooms. The restaurant had a good selection of food highly recommend

Very friendly staff but it is just a box standard hotel so don't expect alot.

Could not get to sleep due to staff partying in attic room loud music banging about and talking very loud coming down fire escape and smoking and talking loud outside our window room 4 had to go up to there room at 5am to as them to turn music down so I could get to sleep

Basic and nice and clean, good value for the price.

Friendly and helpful staff. Close to Kingussie railway station in the Cairngorms. Basic room but spotlessly clean, comfy bed and quiet location.
