GBBreakfast was lovely , my own criticism would be that the hotel lacked atmosphere which was a shame as it is a beautiful hotel . I think maybe some background music would help this

GBAccess to the room was easy, either by lift or a small flight of stairs. The bed was comfortable. Soft carpeting in the passageways felt luxurious. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel building was lovely, amongst many other historical buildings on the road, and right opposite the Cathedral.
We would have appreciated an extra toilet roll in the bathroom, as one and half was skimpy for two elderly people for two nights. I wasn’t keen on the warehouse-like furniture…the heavy brown, angular shapes and connecting pipes, although the pictures on the walls were bright and cheery.

GBThis hotel was in a great location and the staff were really helpful and friendly. It was good to have the drop-off area, especially as the car parking is split between 3 different sites.
Unfortunately the walls were thin and we could hear quite a lot of hotel guest noise and outside noise. Also, the bathroom fan was on constantly, which was annoying for hubby.
