Heritage Hotel Kaštelet

Izuzetno ljubazno osoblje, gospodin Marko i gospođa Hava su bili jako susretljivi i pažljivi prema nama. Sve pohvale kuhinji i radnicima koji ugošćuju, jako profesionalan team. Odlična hrana i usluga, ljudskost na prvom mjestu. Da ne bi ovo postao suviše dug roman. Sve je bilo odlično.

Nema zamjerki, nadam se da će voditelj(i) hotela nastaviti odličnim radom. Za pojedine goste je možda tematika ležaljki na plaži za vrijeme našeg boravka osjetljiva bila, no radnici poput gospođe Have su van razmjera u svojoj profesionalnosti i ljubaznosti bavili i osjetljivim temama. Svaka čast, rado ćemo doći ponovno u preporučiti ovaj poseban povijesni objekt.

Die Lage ist nicht zu übertreffen. Direkt am Strand, die Promenade vor der Tür. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Das Personal ist schlecht/ gar nicht koordiniert. Es gibt keine klare Linie, man hat den Eindruck jeder arbeitet einfach wie er denkt. Eine Person läuft durchgehend mit Kopfhörern rum, selbst bei Kundenkontakt werden sie nicht aus den Ohren genommen - geht gar nicht! Auf das Frühstück wartet man mindestens 30 Minuten, selbst wenn man alleine ist, teilweise kamen Eierspeisen oder Toast dann einfach kalt zum Tisch. Unser Zimmer wurde nie ausreichend gereinigt, jeden Tag blieben Haare überall zurück, Tassen und Gläser wurden gar nicht getauscht. Im Zimmer/ Badezimmer gibt es keine Möglichkeit nasse Strandhandtücher/ Badeklamotten aufzuhängen was man bei einem Hotel am Strand erwarten kann. Die Preise im Restaurant sind unverschämt für die Qualität des Essens als auch der Kellner. Alles wirkt sehr lieblos und oberflächlich, ohne Freude oder Hingabe. Für uns definitiv der erste und letzte Besuch in diesem Hotel.

Very clean, newly refurbished, 5* high standard stuff, wonderful restaurant and room service, close to the beach, fantastic location. There is no street between the hotel and the beach, only pedestrians can pass, so it’s very safe and quiet during the night. The interior patio is super quiet, good for working, zoom meetings and just relaxing. During the breakfast you are served whatever you like. The restaurant team is absolutely amazing. Reception is working 24/7 and stuff is super friendly and helpful on every single step of your holidays. I extended my stay for another week just after arrival when I saw how fantastic this place is.

There is absolutely not a single thing I didn’t like about this place.

Overall the hotel and the rooms were very nice and the beach that is just outside the hotel's front door is AMAZING. We also appreciated the dedicated parking as this can otherwise be a nightmare in Tucepi. We had a nice 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves very much (total 7/10), but expectations from the reviews on here as well as the pictures were not met. What was also very nice was that you could stroll along the promenade at day / night for restaurants and pure pleasure making the location a really good one.

There were a few drawbacks that lead to the hotel not meeting our expectations (at least not at the rate that was charged ˜330 CHF/ night). > Welcome and service was seriously lacking. Every detail had to be asked for, and even then answers were scarce. One lady at the reception made an outstanding effort, but most of the other staff seemed rather disinterested. It started with the check-in experience, but also the service in the restaurant (e.g. we tried ordering different white wines, to give different wines a try. After the first one, the others were all sold out. We then ordered a rosé, but the waiter brought a white wine (interestingly enough a different one than the one we had before. It made for a funny holiday anecdote, but at the rate / positioning of the hotel I'd expect more)). > the beach is beautiful with the clearest water, but be mindful the hotel experience is very different to what is advertised on the pictures here on booking.com. you can rent sunbeds (2 beds + 1 umbrella 28 EUR/day) in a dedicated area, but it is rather small and anyone with a towel can sit in the same area making it very crammed. Again, we had good time at the beach, but it did not match what we had expected from the reviews / the pictures here where nice wooden sun beds are pictured, rather than plastic ones... > What does not really become apparent here at all is that the hotel belongs to a (what seems to be) all-inclusive family hotel that is actually connected (physically) to the Kastelet hotel. This also means that the hotel does not sit as secluded on the beach as it seems in the pictures. In fact it is embedded in high rises around and a lot of the facilities / services / experiences are shared. Given that this was our last vacation as couple as we have a baby on the way, our intention was to be a bit more secluded, rather than in the middle of it all.

Prekrasan mali hotel na savrsenoj lokaciji. Hrana je bila izvrsna (doručak i večera). Odličan izbor hrane kako za one koji jedu meso tako i za vegetarijance. Osoblje je iznimno profesionalno i ljubazno. Posebna pohvala gospodični Tini u restoranu. Bila je ljubazna, profesionalna i nenametljiva.

Sve nam se svidjelo i sigurno ćemo se vratiti.
