Friendly staff, lovely decor and grounds, in a cute little historic part of town. Wonderful vibe getting to know the other guests at breakfast. Would 100% go back whenever we want to be in the area.

I didn't realize the bathroom for my room was one where I had to go outside into the hall to get to it, even though it was a bathroom for only my use. I was a little surprised (likely I did not look closely at the detail of the listing), but knowing it now, I would still go back.

I think this is our 4th time staying here, and there is a reason for that! We love the whole feel of this historic property-from check in, to the lovely, comfortable rooms. Then there's an amazing breakfast! It's the perfect way to start our vacation: relaxed, well rested after a great night's sleep, and well-fed!

"Beautiful house, great hosts."

We loved staying at the Delano Homestead B&B. It's an absolutely beautiful house, managed with great care. From arrival through breakfast and departure, Paul and Tracey were perfectly responsive, unobtrusive, and flexible. We'll be back, either to visit Fairhaven / New Bedford or to use the B&B as a jumping-off point.

Wonderful hosts. Very relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful historic house. Excellent breakfast. Fairhaven is a lovely small New England town. Very quiet. Great restaurant options within a short walking distance. Great 19th c. churches, municipal buildings and public library a few blocks away for architecture buffs. Very easy access to New Bedford, museums, harbor. Very highly recommended.

Nothing disappointed us about our stay.

"A perfect little getaway to immerse yourself in history and comfort"

This place is such a little gem. The connection to New Bedford's whaling history and FDR really tickled us. Our room was very comfortable and pretty. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot and cold options.
