Hilltop Vacation Rental

I liked that it was quiet the room was clean and restaurants weren't too far away for dining

The check in process was ok. The living room of the house and the front yard are stunningly beautiful. However once we got to our rooms we were kind of disappointed. It seemed like maximal effort was put into the first floor of the house but a bare minimal effort was put into the room. The bathroom walls were unfinished and the water pressure of the shower very low, the faucet was loose and barely hanging. The bed was too soft and uncomfortable that my spouse and I had a hard time sleeping. I have to give the hosts a point for providing earplugs though because the wild life is very loud in the morning when you're still trying to sleep. If only the interior of the room matched the living room. A pity! Location is great though.

The room I was in was large and had great views of Hilo Bay. The sunrise was amazing.

The house is very clean and beautiful, the owner enthusiastically gave us the guide of checkin, if there is an opportunity we will consider living again :⁠-⁠)

Nice spot great space

We loved our 7-night stay at Hilltop vacation rental! We had the economy room with a view of the ocean and it was very cool to wake up to the sun rising. The room was clean, there was a shower and bathroom and all of the necessary essentials for our stay—coffee maker, small fridge, etc…The parking was a bit tight, but our rental Jeep fit into the parking spots! It was a quiet and peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our stay but did not like the lack of TV. Screencasting was the only option. Nearby roosters start crowing early am.

Place was more than we ever thought. Super clean, super cool. No lobby, self checkin. Pool table in great room. Just a really cool exercise experience. My wife was apprehensive as she likes traditional hotel, but even she was over the top

We had an relaxing one-night stay at the hilltop retreat! The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure every aspect of our experience was top-notch. The ocean views were breathtaking, and the sounds of the tropical rain throughout the night created a magical ambiance. The king bed was super comfortable, and I loved the creative floor plan of the unit—it added a unique charm to the whole experience. Five stars all the way for this charming and relaxing getaway!
