Black Forest Bed & Breakfast

The staff is very kind. Terry and Angie make you feel right at home. The breakfast was fresh and hot. The eggs are made with cream cheese. The bacon was grilled! The hot tub in the cabin was amazing!

The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was very large and I appreciated having alot of space. Loved that we didnt have to go up any stairs and we were able to park right outside our door.

Well based on the pictures of the Beautiful Canopy Bed I did actually think that was the room we were getting. It was not. The room was clean but the space is very tired. The bed was a bit worn out, counter top in the bathroom sagged. The space could use a little freshen up. There was also no fridge in the room which is pretty much standard these days even in bed and breakfast establishments. Should provide better parking instructions. This place sit up on a hill and parking is very very tight.

The room/connected areas were romantically decorated with a heart shaped hot tub and an electric fireplace. The breakfast was fantastic; blueberry, almond pancakes, cheesy scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, sausage and bacon, freshly made.

Truthfully, there was nothing that was irritating. You can ask for towels, extra blanket, etc., and quickly get it. No one was next to our room, so no noise issue either.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfy. The heart shaped tub was clean and gave us a nice relaxing night.

The owners/staff are wonderful. Very helpful with information about places to go and where to eat. They serve a hearty breakfast every morning. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown Helen.

Very small parking facilities but I don't know what they could do about that as there is no room for expansion. If someone parks wrong, there is not room all the guests to park their cars. That happened while we were there. Someone parked over the line and left no room for the final guest's vehicle.
