Turbot House Hotel

I checked in went to my room and booked another hotel immediately. The smell was that bad you could see it! The toilet flushed by itself, shower head dripping non stop. It was what I imagine a drug house would be like, it’s not worth $35 per night let alone $135.

I stayed here for the location to the SunCorp Stadium - I walked. The hotel is sketchy. The room smelled. The bathroom had no shower curtain and when the curtain arrived, it was short. When I showered the water spilled into the other areas of the bathroom floor. The room had no towels, wash cloth, or bar soap and I had to ask for it.

I couldn't handle chemical smell, apparently from cleaning chemicals. Windows missing and small bathroom means smaller than a cruise ship. Would stay at backpackers next time for half the price.

Room nothing like photos. Rip off and not worth more than $20 per night

You get what you pay for. Avoid at all costs. Filthy. Snot on walls. Stains everywhere.

Saw an insect crawling around the room. No ventilation for the bathroom.

The rooms are entirely inferior to photos.The facility is unkept and dirty with toilet not flushing and taps leaking.The photo promoting the facility is a photo of an impressive building which is actually the treasury building and not remotely close to the facility.Expedia jeopardises its reputation with its association.I was booked for a week but left after one night.Will discourage anybody to stay at the facility

Extremely poorly patched Hole in the wall of my room. Cups and plates were still dirty from the last guests. Small holes throughout room and even in the door that was just plugged up with bits of a chux cloth. Was the cheapest hotel I could find on short notice ($125 a night) which is quite cheap, but it wasn't a pleasant stay.
