Turbot House Hotel

Partner and I stayed for 1 night. Floor was not clean, amenities were not clean, bed was infested with bed bugs. Front of house service was great, easy late check in process. However, we will not be going back.

Location was great, the accommodation needs a bit of work.

The proximity to Brisbane centre is great, staff were friendly but condition of room was not as advertised stains on carpet graffiti on the bathroom door and room smelt damp. There was no shower curtain therefore everything in the bathroom got wet. If amenities were improved it would be nicer.

Reconsider staying there. It is not worth it

There were small cockroaches in the room, a strange bug in the bed, black scuff marks on wall, chipped paint, grey doors for a tiny room with 1ft perimeter around bed. Was like a prison cell. Shower gel for one night instead of 5.

The smallest and most run down room I've ever stopped in. It may be cheap but it's still overpriced, do yourself a favour and spend a bit more. Not recommended.

Avoid this place

This hotel was exactly as I expected it to be. Being built in 1916 it was not in the best condition but the staff were friendly, the location was very convenient, the air con was cold and the bed was comfy.

Mouldy floor room smelt terrible, aircon was extremely noisy wouldn’t recommend unfortunately,

The property is very run down and in need of a makeover.
