Beachfront Terraces

Loved the access to the beach across the street and appreciated the prompt responses from Eve and the staff.We'd stay here again, for a longer time.

Water leaks bad plumbing 1 toilet roll only for 1 week

We loved the location of this condo being close to both the beach (right across the street) and the town (10 minute walk). We spent 5 nights in Port Douglas as part of our 21 day Australia vacation and we were glad that we chose it as a base for exploring the Great Barrier Reef as well as the Daintree, Cairns, and Port Douglas itself. The condo is part of a building with a shared reception office where you go to pick up your keys. It was very spacious for just the 2 of us with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Everything was very clean and we liked having the kitchen and washer/dryer. The price was very reasonable as well so we would highly recommend it!

We are locals. Happy with the room overall however wifi connection was not available despite many attempts at logging in etc.

I have spent many holidays in Port Douglas but could never afford to stay on the Esplanade, which for me is the best location, overlooking four-mile beach. This time, sharing with my best friend visiting from UK, it was possible at Beachfront Terrace, and she thought it was paradise. We had apartment 205, which was a two-bedroomed, two-bathroomed two-storey apartment on the end of the block. Although the building is looking a bit dated, the apartment was spacious, spotless, much better equipped than any other I’ve stayed in (even providing beach towels) and the beds and lounges of high quality and extremely comfortable. We had our own undercover parking at the back door, which was a bonus, and balconies front and back with outdoor furniture on each. Provided I can afford it, I will always stay here in future. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

Whilst this property is extremely run down and in need of repair and updates, the location made up for it. It was also very clean. I will definitely stay again.

Excellent position.Central to town and restaurants,and opposite beach.

Our room was a real disappointment. The bathroom was so small I had to move into another room to dry myself. The apartment was in original condition (apparently 80s although seemed older) and nothing had been renovated. The sliding door which lead to the beach had the locks blocked out which meant we were unable to access the beach as we could not lock the apartment. There were not enough power points, the cook top was very old and cracked and the wardrobe was damaged and had not been repaired. I did complain on the first day and was told to make an appointment on the next day. I received an email on the second day telling me to make an appointment. As we were to leave on the Wednesday there did not seem much point. The wifi was terrible. I would not recommend Beachfront Terraces.

Just finishing a wonderful holiday staying at the beachfront terraces in Port Douglas QLD. The absolute best location, opposite the beach, short stroll to to the town centre with all the great shops and restaurants. We had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment with balcony views to the ocean. Highly recommend staying there for a relaxing holiday. Lovely friendly staff were very helpful.
