Beachfront Terraces

Out the front door across the street and onto the beach - perfect! Our one bedroom unit, 205, had been renovated and painted however some of the other units definitely need upgrading. The exterior of the building is looking dilapidated and in need of some TLC (signs of concrete cancer etc). The new pool is great however the design could have been better to accommodate some deeper water - because the pool is so shallow by afternoon it is like getting into a hot bath (possible a simple sun sail over a portion of the pool may help with this?) Some more mature planting around the exterior fence line of the pool would have also improved the look of the whole area. We have been staying at this place on and off for over 20 years and love the location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful & allowed us an early check in due to an early flight which was fantastic. Overall we would prefer to stay here rather than some of the more upmarket places. If you want 5 star go elsewhere, but if you want relaxed, clean, homely and directly across from the ocean then you might like this place. We would definitely return but would want one of the upgraded units. Thanks to the staff for your courtesy and friendliness.

Loved our time there. Beach, pool,cafe, apartment was very comfortable and private.

Look - I stayed here for a few nights and totally regret it. The furnishings, decor, and amenities looked to me like they hadn't been updated in 30 years. It's basically drive-in motel quality, in my opinion. I was horrified when I popped into the Sheraton Mirage and found out I could have stayed there in 5 star luxury for only about $40 more a night than what I was paying here. I recommend you do that instead. I'm kicking myself I didn't.

Unbeatable location. Great space. Good pool. Perfect if you don't mind the dated fitout.

I loved it was across the road from the Ocean and daily walks on the beach were lovely. The shops were only 5-10mins walk away, shops were convenient, eating places were plentiful, not far from, Mossman sightseeing and things to do in Port Douglas while not plentiful were interesting.

The room was clean comfortable and well air conditioned. The location is great, right across the road from the beach, and about 20min walk to town. The surf life saving club, and another restaurant are very close. The after hours checking was frustrating. I rang ahead and got instructions. They fell apart because the notice with the phone number to call was on the door in the DARK, the key safe was similarly tucked away in the dark. The font office woman was dismissive of my complaint on this and another matter (wrong welcome letter).

Perfect location, knowledgeable staff and clean place to stay - opposite the beach. No WiFi in the room - had to go to reception. Close to local bars and restaurants. - would recommend to anyone

very clean and has everything you need but needs an update like cupboard doors off hinges and sink that doesn't drain properly

This small older style apartment has been a pleasant surprise. Whilst not upmarket, it is clean, comfortable and in the very best location. It represents excellent value for money and we will definetly be return guests.
