Beautifully kept.

The rigid hours for dinner and bar opening.

The Star has a very warm feel, fantastic style and even better hospitality. The food at dinner time was great and setting very comfortable.

That we didn't have enough time to stay longer than just the weekend.

everything was lovely, loved the best 3 dogs ever, even though we have a hybrid car the offer of an ev charging station was a great touch

Everything! Really comfortable, cosy and spacious rooms. Loved the cosy lounge room with fireplace; very friendly owners and delicious meals.

I recently stayed at Hotel Valhala and was not impressed. First off, there’s no elevator, which means navigating narrow, steep steps to the second floor with luggage is a real challenge. The room itself is located at the back of the hotel, facing a retaining wall or slope just a few meters away, so you get no sunlight. Additionally, the room was dim due to the absence of a ceiling light, creating a dingy atmosphere. The furniture in the room seems to be a mismatched collection of old leftovers rather than a thoughtfully curated setup. The armchairs, in particular, are oversized and awkwardly placed, making it nearly impossible to move around comfortably—especially when trying to reach the bedside. Overall, the practical and aesthetic shortcomings made for a disappointing stay.
