Wonderful location in the forest of the Baw Baw national park. Michael, Russell and of course the dogs, Tilly & Rupert were very welcoming. Room was very comfortable and for me as someone who eats a plant based diet the hosts cooked a delicious Asian stir fry with fresh noodles and fresh vegetables. Walhalla make be off the beaten track but well worth the detour!

"A perfect get away with comfort, history and delicious food."

This replica of the original Star Hotel is brilliant. You still feel the history with all the benefits of a recent build. The warmth and charm are immediate on arrival in reception. The service was excellent, the food superb and the advice on local information was terrific. We will be back. Extra treat the beautiful dogs Rupert and Milly.

Really quiet and restful. Excellent hosts. Lovely meals. Very comfy bed. Interesting decor and artwork around the place.

"Great place to stay in Wahalla."

Great location, clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful room with a lovely view across the town. Friendly staff and delicious food. It is a wonderful place to stay.

The bed was firm, but not uncomfortable. The shower was small with a curtain which stuck to you when you were showering.
