Surfers Aquarius

Indoor pool was heated and 2 indoor Spas were amazing and hot! Free parking is also a bonus. We stayed in a 2 bedrom 2 bathroom apartment which was very spacious and suited a family.

First room, 31C, was extremely outdated, very dirty and falling apart. There were chips in the couches, mould on the curtain, a bandaid in the shower and both the shower doors fell off. The kitchen windowI would also not close. We were moved to room 14A which was much nicer as it looked renovated. Only thing with this room was that there was no air con. It's about a 20 min walk to cavill ave.

Location and every window had beach / ocean views. It was amazing! Enjoyed the outdoor pool, spa, and the access to the bike path and beach.

The laundry door did not close and there was a noise coming from the vent constantly. Was a little dated but I didn't mind.

The location is perfect, walk to everything. The apartment was very large, larger than most with excellent views North facing.

The property has not been updated since being built. It is tired and run down. The furniture was unpleasant in how old and stained it was. The AC worked infrequently and unreliably, the dishwasher and towel rack in one bathroom were broken. Rubbish was left in an office drawer which was unpleasant. A kitchen table leg was braced with cardboard. Every hinge in the apartment creaked.

The apartment was beautifully spacious but it was the views that look our breath away

Unfortunately our room as lovely and big as it was , was very dusty! My children suffer with allergies and had a rough first night there. I had to wipe down the aircon units with wet wipes and also around the skirtings in their room and common area. I showed photos of how bad it was to reception. But other than a sorry and that they would speak to their cleaning team there was no other action taken and we had another night to stay there.

Great location on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and town (or a short drive either way to Broad Beach or Surfers Paradise). We loved the kids playground and bbq areas, indoor and outdoor pool and spa and our spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment was perfect for our family plus grandparents to stay for the week while we explored the Gold Coast. We loved the views from the balcony.

Overall we had a fantastic stay but the property could have done with a couple of extra staples in the kitchen such as cooking oil etc. and some more information supplied on things such as rubbish disposal and using the pool and bbq areas.
