Abbey Beach Resort

Location and facilities were great. Staff were all very friendly. Would visit again for a south west getaway.

The bed was quite firm which is not what we are used too. Other than that, we loved everything else.

Location, walking distance to beach. Everything you need is there.

Not keen on the carpet in room, either replacing. Tap water is warm.

Breakfast was okay. Food could have been warmer and sorry but coffee was terrible.

For what we paid for our evening meal we believe it could have been a bit better. The waiter had a very limited understanding of the English language. The bar was very limited and ashame drinks where all pre mix.

Ive been coming to Abbey Beach resort for years now, dozens of times. Well located beach access right there, staff, service and apartment is always clean. Even with a full house it seems peaceful.

Great beachfront resort in Busselton. Spacious, clean rooms with great facilities including indoor/outdoor pools and a gym. The beachfront location is fantastic and perfect for relaxing walks. Friendly staff and close to town and wineries. Would happily stay again

Our family has been staying at Abbey Beach Resort since 2000, but after our stay on March 14th (Room #22, Beach Front), we will never return. What used to be a 5-star experience has plummeted to a 1-star standard. ​The Rooms: For over $460 a night, we expected cleanliness. Instead, we found the rooms dusty, smelly, and the carpets filthy. Most revoltingly, we found pubic hairs in the spa and bathroom upon arrival. My mother-in-law actually became unwell due to the sheer amount of dust in her room. It is clear that basic housekeeping standards are no longer being met. ​The Restaurant Service: We booked a table for dinner 9 hours in advance for 7:30 PM. When we arrived at 7:15 PM to wait for our table, the supervisor/manager on duty was incredibly rude and dismissive. He flat-out told us, "I cannot serve you, I have two buses full of tourists I need to look after." It was an unprofessional and insulting response. To be told that a confirmed booking doesn't matter because a larger tour group took priority is a disgrace. We ended up leaving the resort entirely to find dinner in Busselton city. ​ It is a shame to see such a beautiful beachfront location ruined by poor management and a lack of hygiene. To prioritize tour buses over loyal Aussie locals who have supported this business for two decades is a terrible business model. Save your money and stay elsewhere—Abbey Beach Resort is no longer the premier destination it once was.

For the price of the room the offering of coffee powder and a plunger with no coffee for it was very disappointing plus the milk was old and opened :(
