Super helpful staff who accommodated our early morning arrival from the train. Great room with lovely views. Having washing machine and dryer in the room was super useful. Easy walk into town centre. Definitely recommend the sunset cruise. Would love to stay again.

The room we had was not suitable for older people. The shower was set up inside the spa bath and it wasn’t easy to get in and out of the bath. We felt a bit unsafe.

Its a little out of town but great views. 10mins walk to main strip

The sebel Airlie Beach was very clean with wonderful facilities and amenities for our 5 night stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly with fantastic idea's for things to do with the family. It is only a very short distance from the centre of town and the wharfs where the catamarans are for day trips.

Great place to stay. Very comfy king sized bed. Having to step up & over & into a bath to have a shower is not ideal.

Great for families

Dani on reception was absolutely outstanding and clearly in a job that she enjoys doing and does really well. She made book in and check in so easy, was extremely helpful on arrival and made time to assist in any way she could. The location was an easy walk to town, the room was well looked after and very clean as were the onsite facilities. Really great place to stay .

The good things to mention are: - The unit was clean on arrival; - Pool area was great, spa was a plus - it was broken on the second day but got fixed. But…… Do NOT sell a room as “OCEAN VIEW” if it does not have an ocean view. Unbelievable, received an email a couple of days before arrival asking for an extra $50 PER DAY if I wanted to guarantee the view. WHAT? Of course did not pay and would never as this was not mentioned when booking. Result: I had a lovely cemented view, accompanied by umbrelllas for the barbecue area. This is a joke! Either you sell your lower level rooms as “partial ocean view” or separate the prices as lower and upper levels, but selling as the same and delivering that, is absurd. Have a look at the lovely view from my room in the photos I took comparing to what is advertised. As I had a long stay I could see upper level rooms empty, so clearly doesn’t matter how long your stay is, if you don’t pay EXTRA ($450 on my case),you don’t get the view. Housekeeping only happened once for an 8 night stay.. No options of buying any food (even snacks) or beverages (even water or any non- alcoholics) in the hotel; Internet (wifi) did not work inside of the bedroom, slow in the living room, only very good reception in the balcony or pool area; Cherry on top, You will get spammed with multiple text messages, had to ask to stop. Funny that I was receiving messages about noise while I was extremely quiet, while the room beside me for the last 3 days had kids screaming and running late night and nothing was said - had to ask multiple times through the balcony for them to stop the noise.
