Sugar Beach Resort

My best friend and I both got teary eyed when we first walked into our room and saw the fabulous view from the lanai! So close to the ocean! The condo was well equipped and served the purpose for our stay. It was nice to have the basics (salt, pepper, cooking spray, paper towel, coffee and filters) there for us to use. I do think some furniture upgrades would be nice because I found the seating very uncomfortable (dining table chairs and couch) Also, a deep cleaning would be a good idea (window shades and bathroom floor in particular) While the staff in the concierge was very friendly, I think they could be more informative and knowledgeable of attractions and excursions because we were a bit misled by a couple of recommendations.

Location was great and beach was beautiful. Only complaints- beds were incredibly hard and the washing machine didn’t work.

First time in Maui and experience was great, Sugar Beach Resort was the cherry on top! Close to everything you need. Team was great and very helpful. The room itself was perfect, everything you need is there for you! 100% would return

Condo VERY dated. Kitchen cabinets hard to open without knobs. Only one small bar of soap provided for bathroom sink and bath for week stay. Very nice welcome package. Washer & dryer very convenient.

This was exactly what we were looking for when booking our stay. Plenty of space, nice veiws, late dinning options, quiet neighbors, clean, nice and friendly staff, ect. Only down side during our stay was someone pulled the fire alarm at 4am (not managments fault at all, nor common when asking others who frequented the resort). The problem was the alarm went off for 2 hours before managment could be contacted to turn them off which was quite difficult to deal with till 6am after just flying in. Also sits along a main road that could get quite noisey sometimes... including in the night. outside of that not a bad experience at all. I would definitely book with this place again due to understandi uncontrolable thing's, and ease of placment. (Not in the middle of kehei and easy to get to all main roads and areas).ng y

The condo was great, had everything we needed for a beach day! Also loved the grounds! The pool and hot tub were great! As well as the “Sand Witch” shop!

I liked that when the smoke detector started beeping, I called the maintenance phone number and the problem was solved immediately.

The pool was wonderful and the hot tub was so nice. The condo was perfect for two people and and we enjoyed it. It wasn’t quite as clean as I would’ve liked but it felt comfortable.

We loved the fact that it was right on the beach. Convenient to everything. Clean condo, clean grounds, clean pool and hot tub. View was excellent.

Perfect location. Property is very outdated, but everything was clean and functional. Plenty of supplies were provided including toiletries, towels, and coffee. The main problem for us was bad or essentially no Wi-Fi in the room.
