Sugar Beach Resort

It was so great and so pretty! Loved it !

The resort and location are beautiful, the unit we stayed in I’d say needs a bit of TLC. The view was absolutely amazing.

Ok, I have never written one of these, so here it goes: do not stay in this rental unit unless you do not care about how it looks. It was extremely depressing- tired sheets, bedspread pretending to be a blanket, filthy vents from the ac, broken washing machine (did get a refund for this), terrible, uncomfortable couch- could feel the springs through it, uncomfortable seating on porch (but the ocean view was amazing), fully mirrored living room(didn't want to keep seeing myself), one bar of soap, one shampoo, one conditioner for 6 day stay, impossibly heavy sliding glass door to the outside, 2 days worth of coffee and creamer (which was nice) but NO condiments whatsoever so pretty hard to cook unless you want to buy salt, pepper, oil, etc. I was depressed while here, and we paid a lot of money to stay. The beach is fantastic, and the place is clean. But do not expect comfort, aesthetics, or a nice environment inside. You are paying for the great beach- and expect a motel 6 type of room. The kitchen was well-equipped, but, again, unless you buy everything to cook with- you aren't going to cook. It has a weird interior bathroom with an opaque door, so if someone uses it at night, the light wakes up the sleeping person. There were plenty of towels.

Unit required updating, deep cleaning and fresh paint

The entry key code wouldnt work, tried several times, took the main help line forever to pick-up, the on-site staff stayed but left even though i hadnt gotten in the room, the chatbot got back to me late in the evening. Finally, was able to get a code to work. Nevertheless a bit nerve racking. Otherwise, everything else was very nice. Liked it was on main level, made it easy to access beach, the rooms were nice so you couldnt hear neighbors through the walls and there were ample parking.

No shampoo or conditioner in the room , was instructed to make a cal to speak to headquarters for such a simple thing .

Easy access from airport, nice beach!

The view was just breathtaking. Better than the photos of the rooms. It was our honeymoon and this condo made our honeymoon. You could hear the waves even if you closed the balcony doors(not noisy but gently) and much louder if you had them open. The bedroom was on the other side, away from the balcony, so you could have a nice deep sleep, uninterrupted by the sounds of the waves. We did encounter one cockroach but it got caught in one of the traps I had set up. Other than the cockroach, it was just so perfect!

Great beach, great view. Small shower and no phone service except for wifi which was ok, but asking us to strip the sheets and take out the trash? Not ok The Sandwich Shop on property is great
