York Cove Hotel

Great size, little things like not all lights work in kitchen hard to see when cooking in kitchen, two aircon were very dirt filters in the bedroom's, besides that I and my family are going to stay there again.thank for a lovely stay.

Even though I made the booking it far exceeded my expectations! The location and facilities were excellent.

The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't get to stay longer 😆

Great room clean tidy and spacious.

We had difficulty accessing our room - instructions on email sent did not match what was needed. No clear signage as for what key box and location. I rang the contact number listed and the gentleman was extremely helpful and sorted things out very well. Thank you. Not as described online. No functioning restaurant as it shows in photos. Most photos seem to be many years old. The gym is still available. Cyclone fence around the pool was our view. Had to drive to eat. Not much to do in surrounding area.

Location

Hygiene, security (or lack thereof), customer service (no employees on site), restaurant (closed down), access. Place is like it's fresh out of hotel hell- can't believe how poor this experience was. Do not book here.

‘The Shining’ vibes No hot water The hotel has seemingly been abandoned. Filthy air cons. No staff onsite. The fried meat smell throughout the apartment.

There was no staff member at any time - all self check in.

The room was nice and big

Nothing at all to cook with ect pits/pans tray for oven We upgraded for the fact it had the kitchen so we could cook but nope wasn’t the case. Also upgraded as it had a spa bath but it didn’t work. So it was a waste of paying an extra $140 for the upgraded room.

Huge room which was comfortable and clean. Great site with loads of potential

Sad environment. It feels abandoned as all facilities apart from gym were shut. Closed off public areas and pool with construction site fencing makes the whole place feels sad and ignored. Gives an uncomfortable vibe about the whole site. No services close by so a drive to buy a coffee.
