1906 Lodge

The breakfast was top notch delicious! (So was the happy hour) The staff was amazing.

The bed was a bit hard and there weren’t really places to put your luggage.

The 1906 Lodge was the perfect choice for our mother-daughter trip to San Diego. The location is ideal—quiet and charming, yet just a short walk to all the wonderful shops and restaurants on Orange Avenue and the beautiful Coronado Beach. The lodge itself is a true hidden gem. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast, and in the afternoon they offered a lovely happy hour with tasty treats. It added such a nice touch to our stay. The innkeeper was always on the premises and incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Overall, the 1906 Lodge offers exceptional hospitality and wonderful value for Coronado. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, relaxing stay on the island.

The location is perfect and walkable to everything. Highlights include the serene garden/courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast and happy hour daily. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This is THE place to stay when visiting San Diego. Coronado is a magical island and the 1906 Lodge is the perfect location to experience it.

I have been going here for over some 15 years and out of all the places I visited on Coronado Island. This is one of the best hands-down I have visited El Cordova and the service there and the room quality was nowhere in comparison to this place. I travel for business a whole lot over the last 31 years and I guarantee you once you leave this place you will come back. Everybody says it who comes here.

Quiet, clean, good location.

We had a wonderful experience at 1906 Lodge. The staff was incredibly friendly and went over and above to make sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and many restaurants. The complimentary bikes were appreciated as we were able to explore Coronado Island on the many accessible bike paths. Breakfast in the morning was incredible and we looked forward to the afternoon happy hour with a selection of beers, wines and appetizers. I highly recommend staying here for a trip to San Diego!

1906 Lodge is a wonderful hotel and the perfect spot to explore Coronado from. Amazing staff and great rooms. Enjoyed the happy hour with appetizers and the awesome breakfast.
