1906 Lodge

Hidden gem on Coronado Island. This was our first time at the 1906 Lodge, but will not be our last. The Lodge is clean, quiet and the service is outstanding. Their staff goes over and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. We were upgraded upon our arrival and loved the room and fresh baked cookies. The bedding and bed were very comfortable and the provided toiletries were very nice. Each morning we had a delicious complimentary breakfast served to us with coffee, tea, juice and mimosas. Each evening, they had happy hour with complimentary wine and charcuterie boards. We loved our stay and so glad we found this gem.

Great customer service and location!

Pool would be nice but not required

We had a lovely stay at 1906 Lodge. The staff was warm and welcoming. The grounds and rooms are charming, clean, and the grounds are relaxing and lovely. We walked easily from the hotel to the Main Street of Coronado and the Del. It is in the perfect location. We definitely will stay here again!

The location, cleanliness and staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and happy hour included was a plus.

What a great place. Everyone was wonderful and helpful. The surroundings were quiet and relaxing. The included breakfast was different everyday and delicious. The daily Happy Hour had a lite snack and choice of good wines. The only improvement would be to offer sparkling and mimosas. Would stay here again.

The 1906 Lodge made for a wonderful vacation for my husband and I. The staff were amazing. The food was wonderful. The room was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the complete and imaginative breakfast. The happy hour was also very enjoyable. We liked the convenient location and could walk wherever we wanted to go. We would go back in a heartbeat!

The 1906 Lodge was the perfect place for me to stay when I was in San Diego this last week for a continuing education program. The program was at the Hotel del Coronado which is located a couple of blocks away from the 1906 Lodge. I wanted a place where I can escape from the meeting and relax at the end of the day. The 1906 Lodge was the perfect place. The room was comfortable, well appointed, clean, and spacious. The staff was exceptional. A colleague stopped by for a business meeting and we were sitting on the patio when happy hour began. He was immediately asked if he would like a glass of wine. He pointed out he was not staying at the hotel and the server said that that did not matter, she would bring him a glass of wine and their meat and cheese board. On the last morning of my stay the breakfast being served was one that I really did not like. The staff member who was taking care of things immediately agreed to make me some scrambled eggs and bacon. Service at that level is uncommon in this day and age. So kudos to the staff and obviously the management who made it clear that good customer service is a highlight of the 1906 Lodge. My colleague, who lives in the San Diego area said he wished he live someplace else as he would come stay at the 1906 Lodge if you were back in San Diego.
