Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott South Boston

It was an amazing place, If I come back I will definite stay there again!

Hotel entrance is under renovation. Expect to walk through a sketchy looking plywood corridor to make your way to the lobby. Once inside everything was fine. The entrance work unfortunately renders half the front parking lot unusable but there’s more around back. Just be cautious of the uneven stairs to the rear entrance. It does appear some rooms are under renovation too. Several rooms had painters tape on the door indicating the room type and workers were coming and going. Room was fine and upgraded from some of the older photos on this site. However, road noise is extremely loud and windows and walls are thin. Ask for a room in the back if you don’t enjoy the sound of heavy trucks engine braking all night. Breakfast was standard Fairfield stuff. Eggs and sausage a little cold the morning I went. I’m Bonvoy gold with 40+ nights a year. No upgrade and no other recognition of status.
