Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott South Boston

Staff was very helpful. Property was clean and comfortable. Front entrance was in the process of being remodeled so there was some debris but overall very happy with the hotel.

This was by far the worst Marriott experience we have had in over 40 years of travel. The hotel was under construction which we were not made aware of when we booked our reservation. The lobby and hallways were a mess. Our room had very high levels of mold and mildew, causing respiratory distress and a poor night's sleep. The decor/furniture would earn a one star and the coffee was terrible. The lobby coffee maker was broken. We filled out the requested survey that was emailed to us, but have not heard back from a management member. Do not stay at this property!

Facility under renovation so things were a bit dusty in the lobby. Not an issue or inconvenient. Rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was the best I’ve had recently. Variety of choices to keep it interesting.

The only thing I did not like is they were doing construction downstairs and it was noisy on the bottom floor when they were doing construction but that is what it is

This hotel was under construction/renovation during the stay. There was no indication of this when booking and rates were not reduced for noise or mess or lack of amenities available.

The staff were very helpful.

They were renovating, the rooms were renovated but the bathroom counter have dried up glue or something they didn’t cleaned up, the light fixtures in the bathroom was very dirty, fitted sheets was too small so the corner kept coming off.

I love it here but the pool being down should make price go down, thats one of the reasons i pick this hotel
