If you want to have a magestic experience in Costa Rica book your hotel at Rip Jack . The accommodations are top notch and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful in regards to the area. The hotel is walkable, talkable and quiet, and inclusive to people of all ages. Everything is clean and safe, and you are steps from the warm ocean and beautiful, sparkling pools. The fresh squeezed drinks and chef made food was 5 star delicious . You will become one with the swinging monkeys, sprawled iguanas, singing birds as well as the the unforgettable sunsets . The front desk makes it simple to book jungle excursions or city shopping where you will get picked up within minutes and will make all transactions easy and quick . You will forever know the difference between a vacation and a trip. I cannot wait to Return .

RipJack restaurant was a highlight of our trip! Kept coming back for multiple meals. Kids LOVED the banana pancakes. Food, smoothies and cocktails are amazing. Phenomenal service from Alicia and perfect restaurant beach vibes. Must visit if you’re in Playa Grande or Tamarindo

The RipJack Inn is our go-to place to stay in the Playa Grande area. The rooms are clean, spacious with hot water and cool air conditioning. The restaurant/bar area has a fabulous happy hour with tasty food and refreshing beverages. You are a minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Costa Rica. Monkeys and exotic birds are plentiful on the property. We have stayed on this property on several occasions and will continue to due so in the future.

Wonderful stay in one of the villas. The hotel is super close to the beach and has everything you need. The food at the restaurant was good quality. I took 2 classes (yoga and pilates) and the kids enjoyed the multiple pools and the wild life around the hotel! We did not have a car and were able to walk around everywhere in the neighborhood.

There is some construction on the adjacent road but it didn't bother us.

Easy to find, friendly staff, clean and quiet environment. All good except the shower water lacks pressure and doesn’t heat up.

The location is unmatched. Beds were comfy and good bathrooms too - it was also nice that our room had a small table and chairs outside. Some coffee was provided which was nice for the morning, and we also liked that there was a small fridge for drinks, fruit etc. The drive in is totally fine and there is parking right outside the property. Lastly, given there isn't much in the way of restaurants in a walking distance it was nice to see so much variety on the restaurant menu.
