Apartment Espoir

It was a nice apartment in an interesting building, well looked after by a very nice person in a great location.

Our room was quite small but it was as advertised so it's not a complaint.

I had the most wonderful stay at Espoir in January 2023. As many other reviews have said, Keith is a charming host, so friendly and helpful. At the same time, I had as much peace and quiet as I liked. My studio room was just as photos show - very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. Beautiful balcony with lush garden planting at arm's length, full of birdsong. A few minutes walk to lovely quiet beach at Labrellotte Bay. Along the beach Windjammer Landings Hotel welcomed non- residents for lunches ( bit too rocky to walk in the dark). 10 -15 mins walk to supermarket and minibuses.

It wasn't an issue for me, but as previous review states, there are steep stretches of road and garden path.

very clean and very comfortable. Keith the host was brilliant - nothing was too much trouble and he gave great recommendations for travel. Excellent value for money.

would recommend a car to get to property and down to shops and restaurants - but host very easily can arrange taxis

We arrived late at night so Keith took us with him to get dinner which was lovely. The apartment was great to cook our own food, and good facilities (fridge/freezer etc). Keith and his friend who also stays there were amazing for giving us local spots to go to so we weren't stuck in tourist traps too!

The chairs on the balcony could have been a little more comfortable or perhaps a bench as sitting outside and relaxing is something we did most evenings, but nothing too negative just a little recommendation. The apartments are up a big hill and about 10 minutes walk to the main road where you can get a bus, so be mindful to be quite fit and able, or hire a car, which keith helped us to arrange :)

The location is spectacular. The walk to the each is easy and accessible. The pool is idyllic as is the garden...pure tropical with hummingbirds!! Our host,Keith,has done a Herculean task to build the surroundings and so lots of birds are flying around.....beautiful!! Definitely recommended......STUNNING.

The host is wonderful! We arrived by ferry, it was delayed and arrived in late evening. Keith arranged transportation for to pick us up at ferry and to Soufriere. Good safe drivers! He was just so helpful and friendly. The property is lovely with beautiful flowers, birds and stairs to the water. The pool is nice and well maintained. Room was spotless with a comfy bed. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!
