USWe stayed here at the beginning of our tour and at the end ( 8 days later). The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was so-so- typical hotel buffet. There are no restaurants in the area so its either order in, taxi or Uber/Lyft. We chose to Uber to downtown area for dinner. Otherwise nice hotel and stay.
During my stay my room was never cleaned.

Everything was great! Friendly staff, nice breakfast, easy to check in and check out. It was a little confusing trying to find the hotel location but we were happy with everything else.
Based on reviews I selected this property for my visit to Anchorage to avoid the hefty Marriott Hotel Downtown. I checked in around midnight to find I had been assigned the incorrect room. Additionally it was on the ground floor so the the staff made no effort to check my Bonvoy preferences. The front desk staff member was ok, no acknowledgement of my Bonvoy status etc. The next morning around 4-5am I had a strong greasy breakfast smell in my room. I went to breakfast later in the morning, I found that the kitchen staff prop open the kitchen door allowing the greasy breakfast smell to go down the ground floor hall way and into all the rooms, yuk it stank. Security and safety was my top concern with this hotel, the second night around midnight I had some crazy person trying to get in my room, despite attempts in telling him to go away, I called the front desk who quickly intervened. For the next few hours I could hear periodic shouting, I am unsure if it was the same person. The next day I got no explanation as to who this person was or how they entered the hotel. It was almost like the person shouting was mentally unstable. I did not feel comfortable in this hotel, there were some odd people in the lobby and lurking around the hotel and just gave me a strange feeling about the place. One day a guest started talking to me randomly, followed me down my corridor and said “love you, bye” before walking past me. I went with my gut and decided to check out early as I wasn’t willing to give the hotel anymore of my money! I do not recommend this property. I do not require a response to this review.
