Had a wonderful stay! The entire experience was comfortable, smooth, and truly relaxing. The staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. My stay at The Grand Dragon Ladakh was truly exceptional, especially during a very challenging time for us. During our trip, my husband fell seriously ill and had to be hospitalized. What stood out the most was how the hotel team cared for us like family. Their compassion and support made an incredibly stressful situation much easier to handle. A heartfelt thanks to Chef Deshraj, who prepared delicious and thoughtful meals for us. His food was not just excellent but also comforting when we needed it the most. A very special mention to Rinchen, who went out of her way to look after us. She arranged comfort food for my husband and me, including special preparations like drastuk—something so meaningful when someone is unwell. She even remembered exactly how I like my cold coffee and made it perfectly every time. We also received outstanding service from Gagan, Sunil, and Malban, who were consistently attentive and kind. At reception, Chorol ensured everything was handled smoothly, including helping coordinate hospital visits and taking care of all our requirements with great efficiency and warmth. This level of hospitality is rare. The team didn’t just provide service—they provided genuine care and support. I will always be grateful and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Leh.

Tastefully decorated, very well maintained and – what is very rare in modern world – perfectly managed hotel. All the details are thought of, also taking into account that many of the guests need adaptation to altitude: there are humidifiers in the rooms, upon arrival we got each a tablet to breath in case of altitude sickness. The floors are heated, everything everywhere functions properly and absolutely nothing is a problem. If you need anything, you need just to call and you will get it within a minute. Whomever traveled at least a bit, I am sure is familiar with a situation when either other guests are leaving early or arriving late and the staff brings in or takes out the luggage and has to come into the room several times. BANG, BANG!!! - goes the door of adjacent room and you jump-up on your bed properly woken up. Same normally goes for housekeeping coming to make-up the rooms nearby at ungodly hours. In Grand Dragon even this is taken care of with a genius simple measure: each room has a long narrow pillow that can be secured on handles outside and inside the entry door and prevent any noise from door closing. This hotel is fantastic! Our room was very comfortable and the big window provided for a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, polite, and kind. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The restaurant served delicious meals with impeccable service; the team there was also amazingly polite and attentive. The manager and the front desk personnel were super helpful and kind. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Truly the best hotel I’ve stayed in a long time (and i travel globally for work for 80% of my time) The staff was amazing from the minute we got there, the room is really beautiful, the view breathtaking, the food incredible Everyone was so caring with us it was truly a pleasure to stay there!
