"Very neat hotel"

10.0

The hotel was clean, great customer service, great breakfast (expecting only donuts and coffee). Hotel is very close of subway but the neighborhood looks weird. But there always police around the area.

"Pleasant hotel experience"

8.0

I was in NY just for 2 days and had to find a hotel that's both close to Manhatten and had good reviews from the previous customers. All my expectations were met. Okay location, subway is just a block away from the hotel (about 10 mins ride to 23rd 6th Ave station on F train). Room was clean and everything looked like has been just recently remodelled. I even could see all of the Manhatten financial district and Empire State Building from my room.

"Close to medical clinic"

10.0

We were surprised to see a hotel in a decidedly industrial area and initially thought our GPS was wrong before actually seeing the hotel. There was not enough parking, but the staff allowed us to park in a driveway area and we were not ticketed nor the car bothered. The room was very clean and comfortable and my wife commented that it was the best sleep she had in days. The air conditioner also filtered the air very well.

"Value for money in basic hotel"

6.0

Acceptable modern basic hotel in rundown area. Safe when we were there. Close to two subway lines. Good to get to Manhattan and Brooklyn and to Laguardia airport. Very ordinary breakfast. No eating places in vicinity. We were happy to eat in Manhattan and take subway back to hotel.

"Hotel was okay"

8.0

The hotel was fine. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The negative was that I had to pay to park in the hotel parking garage (which only held about fifteen cars.) It doesn't say online that there is only parking on the street and if you want to park in the hotels parking garadge, you will have to pay a fee each day! Remember, there are only a few parking spaces in the garage. So the first day they were full and we had to park on the street. The surroundings were not the best. So parking my brand new SUV on the street was not something I was expecting to do.

"Overpriced, but hey you are in NYC"

8.0

The stay was comfortable. However I was only notified of a parking charge upon arrival. Should have made that clear on your website.

"Good value. So-so area, but easy access to Downtow"

8.0

The area is nothing to write home about and neither are the dining choices, but the fact that it is only 5 stops on the F line from Times Square, where I go for business every 2 weeks, makes this venue one of my top choices. The rooms are well appointed, always clean and the staff is pleasant.

"Great for saving money"

8.0

We stayed at Sleep Inn to do a two day NYC trip. The hotel was a great price and the view from our room was beautiful- the east side of the skyline! The room itself was very well decorated and had everything except a microwave. Sleep Inn is located a block away from the F subway which takes you right into the city and to other connecting subway lines. There is also a continental breakfast of eggs, pastries, yogurt, cereal, juices and coffee. Additionally, there is a convenience store and a Subway restaurant around the corner. This hotel is in an impoverished area, so the surrounding neighborhood is not beautiful. However the hotel worked out for what we needed: a cheap hotel that could get us into the city quickly. So if you are looking to keep costs down and are adventurous enough to take the subway then I would suggest staying at Sleep Inn.
