The room was spotless & nice and cold when we walked in.

Go to hotel when need a place to stay. Simple and quick.

This is a nice basic hotel with good access to Manhattan but is an edgy neighborhood. This part of Long Island City is next to a low-income project so it is not the best of locations, but you can walk thru the Best Western at it's back door and be on the busy commercial 21st street. From there it is just 1 1/2 blocks to the subway and two stops to Bloomingdales. It feels quite safe and comfortable inside, with a bit of parking between the two hotels, and they have breakfast and a few machines in the gym. It is a good value with a convenient, if not terribly safe feeling, location.

their computer crashed and they over booked the hotel ad we had to stay at another location it was a Best western room was okay. But they were not willing to refund us any money for the inconvience.

Location is kind of hard to find and the area is simekind of dangerous in the night time more police patrolling will be a great idea
