The service that the staff provided was excellent. The location , the beach , the food and drinks are very good. Z was great! We enjoyed our stay!

The room was unreasonably small with a tiny balcony without seating. The shape of the balcony, small and narrow doesn’t allow the capability of moving a desk chair onto the balcony to enjoy the view. The elevators were so slow and it appeared not all in working order. Slow meaning 10 minutes or upward. The elevators were over packed and waiting another 10 minutes for the next. Not sure of the weight limit but that many people packed into one can’t be good. The staff were great. The proximity to the beach was wonderful. The location is on a very busy road but within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

We arrived at the hotel at 3:00 PM. We were asked to wait until 4:00 PM to receive the room. We waited until 5:00 PM. The attitude was disdainful and the girls at the reception simply mocked us. We asked to pay with credit, wallet, phone, or cash for the delayed money. They flatly refused, which is contrary to federal law. The wait for the elevators was long, and every time we had to use the elevator, we got discouraged and had to use the stairs (the room is on the 14th floor). The staircase is unpleasant and not static. The staff is inattentive and from the first moment they recommended that we cancel the reservation and go to another hotel. To sum up, a disappointing and shameful experience. The final bill also charged us more money for the valet parking and we had to explain and ask and explain why until we received a credit for the excess charge. Shameful and disappointing. Of course, we talked to Ross and the management team. It really didn't help and their attitude was automatic without trying to understand and find a solution that included the conduct. Regarding the payment in violation of federal law, we will ensure that a proper lawsuit is filed.

Z and Daniel made our experience in the restaurant beyond stellar. If you ever want drink recommendations or even a special cocktail, Z is going to be your guy. As for the hotel itself, the elevators are notoriously slow. I’ve been coming to Sole for years and for the first time had a couple of larger Issues at check in that will go unnamed due to other amenities and solutions given that made up for the issues encountered.

Elevators were consistently unavailable. Wait times were an average of 15 minutes. I arrived and TV’s were not working in both rooms of a two room suite. The bed had a pillow that was soaked and a giant spot on the comforter. The faucet barely had a stream. Overall, this is a hotel that is in disrepair. Avoid if possible. There are much better options for the price range.
