I'd read several reviews that went pretty far one way or the other, so I really didn't know what to expect. I didn't have any problem with a musty or smoky odor in my room, but my daughter did comment that the hallway smelled pretty smoky when she went out for ice, so there does appear to be an ongoing problem with smokers in the non-smoking hotel. The same person was on duty when we checked in, in the middle of the night and the next morning, so it appeared to be a staff of one (except a housekeeper we saw in the morning). We had to locate him out in the parking lot at one point when there was a problem with the room key (although he was very helpful and friendly - just saying, it seemed seriously understaffed). The shower curtain was torn and repaired with tape, but for the most part, things were in good condition. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, which was handy, though underutilized by us. The room really just served as a bed for our purposes, and those were fine, but there was only a sheet and coverlet on the bed - no additional blanket. The standard toiletries were provided as well.

Nice stay, clean, nice staff. Continental breakfast could use some meat and eggs.

Way over priced for condition. Electrical outlets did not have covers, tv remote was all taped up and did not work properly. Attention to detail needs to be improved.

Room wasn't the cleanest.

This was the cleanest and nicest Days Inn we have ever stayed at. The personnel were very helpful and kind.

It was about what I expected. There were two negatives: The television did not offer any premium channels (NO HBO,Showtime, etc. NO pay-per-view). I've come to expect those as standard for hotel stays. The other thing was the complimentary "breakfast". I'm used to more than bread, a toaster, dry cereal (2 choices of cereal), juice, and coffee. They did have 1 waffle maker; only 1, so you had to wait if someone was ahead of you. The front desk person was also tending to the breakfast area. He was friendly.

We stayed one night after we got back form the basketball game. The room was decent, but smelled of smoke. The continental breakfast was awful. Overall a decent stay, but a good cheap hotel for a few college students

We booked this hotel because of its close proximity to the KFC Yum Center in downtown Lousiville. We didn't want to pay the expensive hotel rates of the downtown hotels. We booked a non smoking room but the room had smokers in it because it smelled of smoke when we entered the room. The bathroom shower curtain was moldy, the door to the room looked like it had been smashed in and it didn't close right. We have stayed in Days Inns before but this one was a big disappointment.

The lobby smelled of something rancid the entire 3 day stay and the "non-smoking" room was quite potent. The shower curtain and ironing board were both covered in mold and when we asked for a new ironing board the attendant said it was just dirty, gave us a new one, but wasn't alarmed at all. It was alright for a cheap place to stay, but definitely will not be coming back.
