Premier Hotel Cabin Matsumoto

Very nice staff. Great location for Kamikochi travelers

Overall, it is a pleasant stay. The only drawback was the unstable internet connection.

We had a great time at Premier Hotel! The room was small, but ee expected that and honestly, it had all the space we needed for the one night we were there! The breakfast was amazing and the location can’t be beat! Right across the street from the train station!

Great breakfast, helpfull staff and nice rooms. We were able to leave our luggage while we visited Matsumoto castle and did some shopping.

Access, facilities, cleanliness, hospitality, breakfast were very good. So I wanted to put 5 point, but the room was too hot and it can not be controlled because the air conditioning system was centralized. Besides the window didn’t open. Our family couldn’t sleep all the night...

Great spot next to the main bus stop and station. I don’t think you could find a hotel closer to either. The bus stop building has a great basement for gift shopping. The reception is on the 10th floor where the restaurant is so it can get a bit busy and difficulty to access when you are in a rush. Book your breakfast early as it is very popular and can get booked out. So many combinis and places to eat within 5 minutes of the hotel - you will be spoilt for choice. Free phone to use so you don’t get lost during your stay is a great bonus. Room was a little on the smaller side but we were not there to spend time in our room so suited us well. Great view from the top floor with free tea and coffee all day. The kids biggest surprise was that the circular walk (10 min) around the train station had atleast 6 combinis! The McDonald’s on the corner is a bit of an eye sore and being so far from Tokyo and takes away from the experience.

Great location right across from the train station and next to the inter-city bus terminal, in walking distance to the Matsumoto Castle; many restaurants nearby; room had a full-size bed, instead of a XL twin in other hotels we stayed during our 7-day tour; welcoming and friendly reception staff allowed us to deposit our bags after check-out; as many reviewers commented, the reception desk is on the 10th floor (our rooms was on the 4th--the same floor where the coin laundry was--convenient). Will stay again if in the region.

The location is great , next to Matsumoto station, surrounded by shop and restaurant. Service was excellent. I did forgot my jacket in the room and headed to Nagoya. Called back and hotel staff arrange the jacket to ship to my hotel in Nagoya.
