Hotel is ok, the food was good. The staff was rude and not really helpful. The two women hostess at Butcher were super rude and unprofessional. There was some exceptions like Eric concierge was really nice, Roger at the Butcher restaurant was outstanding. Also at Butcher the chef Fernando came out to our table to ask about our meal which really nice.

The resort is truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed in Tulum. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was relaxing and completely stress-free. Their kindness, warmth, and professionalism made a lasting impression on me. Every interaction was filled with genuine smiles and a willingness to help—no request ever felt like too much. This experience opened my eyes to what a real vacation should feel like. It was peaceful, rejuvenating, and full of joyful moments. Because of this unforgettable trip, I’ve already decided to return next June—with my kids this time—so they can experience this slice of paradise too. A huge thank you to the amazing staff for turning this into my dream vacation. Your honesty, hospitality, and dedication do not go unnoticed. You’ve earned a lifelong guest.

Just stayed 5 days here with my wife and 2 year old. We really enjoyed it and would come back with more family. The thing that really stands out is the food. When I hear all-inclusive, I assume there’s going to be some hit on quality but that is somehow not the case here. They manage to have buffets with an incredible amount of variety where the food tastes just as good as if you ordered it at a quality restaurant. For the buffets alone, this place is worth checking out. But then there are “a la carte” restaurants you can make reservations with. We enjoyed the Teppanyaki, hibachi grill. Our 2 year old loves pools and we had lots of fun swimming around in several of the pools they have as well as their lazy river. Honestly, if you like hanging in and out of a pool, this is really a great spot for that. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Everyone you see from the housekeepers to the servers to the shuttle bus drivers is hardworking and kind. An important thing to keep in mind is Quintana Roo (Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Akumal, Tulum, etc.) and large parts of the Caribbean are experiencing high levels of Sargassum, this really smelly form of seaweed that overwhelms the beach. Apparently Sargassum season runs from April to September or so. It makes the beach super smelly. The poor staff were shoveling and carting that stuff off the beach but there is just so much of it. Overall, we still had a great stay and would come back.

This was our 2nd stay at this resort. The renovations and changes they’ve made since our last stay are amazing. Our 2 Expedia representatives were great- Karen found us at every dinner to ask if we needed anything and we got the chance to talk with Erik during the Expedia dinner night. He recommended a beach, showed us photos of his recent visit and helped us figure out the best way to get there. I truly hope he’s still there when we visit next time! Pros: The wildlife is so fun, but the addition of the monkeys makes you feel as if you truly are in a jungle paradise. The buffets are incredible- when we saw the new setup our jaws dropped. You won’t be disappointed! The Mexican restaurant was our favorite à la carte. I loved the addition of the big swing down on the beach and the hammock area! After one of our excursions we stopped at the lobby for a drink and accidentally left my bag under the chair, it was turned into security & was returned with everything inside. I never once hesitated to leave my things on the sun chairs while we swam and walked around. The room was clean and cool. CONS: We were only able to get 3/6 nights reservations for dinner, after offering a generous tip to concierge. There was also a stump growing out of the sidewalk that I fell over one night due to poor lighting. I scraped up my knees and had bruising- could have been much worse if I wasn’t quick to catch myself. The walkways between buildings also get very slippery when wet!

The Guest Services team at Grand Sirenis was top notch. Edgar and Karen made it their personal mission to make sure that we were comfortable, happy and unimpeded by not being “members” of the resort. Edgar was an immense help in getting us oriented (with assistance from “Number Juan” Juan) when we arrived and was ever-present throughout our stay, providing directions, recommendations and coordinating the guest service team’s efforts. . Without Karen, we would have been unable to secure reservations at the specialty restaurants that fit our schedule. The cafeteria food was palatable, but it was nice to be able to dine on the Mexican, Japanese and Steakhouse specialties during our stay. “Number Juan” Juan and #2 Juan (at the bell-man desk) went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me find the key fob to my rental car. The highest rated dive shop on the grounds was closed for vacation the week of our stay. Had I known that in advance, we would have stayed elsewhere. We opted for a more highly rated dive shop at a neighboring resort rather than gambling on the lesser rated shop at Grand Sirenis. The biggest disappointment of our trip was the stench and the unsightliness of the rotting seaweed polluting the cove and the beach front at the resort, and the full length of Riviera Maya. We were unable to enjoy the ocean water at the resort and likely won’t return to Riviera Maya because of that problem. It was a good vacation, thanks to Edgar and his team.

Everyone was so kind. The options for all-inclusive were wonderful. I especially love the coffee/sweet shop. The property is large and perfect for walking and then hitting the gym and spa. Claudia was my masseuse and she has healing hands! Erik and Karen at the front desk were wonderful, and being an Expedia regular I got VIP perks, including my birthday dinner already booked before I got there!! I will defiantly go back!!

"Wonderful Resort and Feedback"

We had a very nice stay at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa- all inclusive. From Guest Services, Nery and Eric delivered exceptional service and hospitality. They were so friendly, accommodating, and made us feel welcomed. They went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed. We also received follow-up calls from the guest services team to ensure all was going well. That's a nice touch. From Concierges, Joaquin Alfredo and Eduardo were also very friendly, helpful, and made sure that our experiences went well. Please ensure that their management knows about their excellent service. I think the only constructive feedback is related to a woman named Karen (not sure what department she was from). She interrupted our dinner at Lima one night to talk about the correct process to make dinner reservations and a missed reservation, which was accidental on our end (we came late). We felt that she was passive aggressive and felt she could have talked to us in private at another time. She also talked negatively about a certain person who helped us. The people sitting next to us heard the conversation and after she left, they also felt that she very passive aggressive..as if she was placing blame on us. My friend lost her appetite after Karen left. Karen came by during our dinner on our last night and sat down to ask us how things were going. The tone was more friendly. However, after the first "confrontation", we didn't feel happy for her to come by.
