Whispering Palms Beach Resort

Very nice stay. This is our third visit. If we come to Goa we will stay here only.a perfect stay.

After breaking my head for more than 72 hrs over where i shld stay in goa, I came across this resort. And the reviews on all the portals were so good that i could not miss it. My husband and i booked a room for 2 nights. The very second we reached the hotel we were greeted upon by the security guards who were always so sweet and Mr. Tom playing the violin and singing extremely beautifully for us. He always made sure to engage in conversation with us. Mr. Pravin the front office manager was genuinely so warm throughout our stay. Every staff was so kind, always had a welcoming smile no matter how busy and crowded it got. The rooms were good and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and had a huge selection to choose from. The best part was that they have an electric tuktuk to ferry their hotel clients to the beach or around a 2km hotel radius. They also have a special parking area for cars right next to the beach. Check out was at 11am and we allowed to keep our bags in the hotel luggage room. Our flight was at 10pm and Mr. Pravin was extremely kind to let us use the Spa washrooms to freshen up for our journey ahead. The hospitality here was extremely good. The employees working here seriously need a raise 😉

Stayed at Whispering Palm Hotel in Candolin for two weeks. First of all, food is very spicy 🔥 both lunch and dinner and not much alternatives. After about three meals you are curried out. Breakfast is ok. Rooms need to be updated but are cleaned to a good standard every day. Had no problems to get a sun bed when needed, pool is adequate but a bit small. Gardens are kept immaculate and the staff cannot do enough for you. Traffic is chaotic so be careful when crossing the roads. Gets very hot so use sunhats and plenty of sun cream. To sum up and being our first trip to Goa, it's like being in paradise in a skip but a good experience.

We have just come home from 3 weeks at Whispering Palms, this being our 3rd time staying in Candolim so we knew that it wasn't going to be a 4 star luxury holiday, although our first time staying at this hotel. Position wise this hotel is fantastic as it's just a few steps away from the amazing beach lined with all the shacks and only a very short walk to the main drag with loads of restaurants and bars. The hotel does need some serious TLC - We booked a suite which was a good size but none of the drawers or wardrobes fitted properly, and it really could do with updating. Also even though we turned the air-conditioning down to 16 degrees the room never got cold! Our housekeeper Ajit did a really good job of keeping it clean and tidy and constantly topped up with bottles of water and the moisturisers and mini-bar topped up so thank you for that. (Good luck with your wedding next month!). The pool was lovely to get into after a day on the beach and we never had any trouble getting a sun-lounger and had plenty of fresh pool towels every day - thank you Lucky at the pool bar . The only really negative thing to say about this hotel is the food! We love a good curry, but that is all there is in the evenings (and even curry at breakfast!) and it didn't vary at all! It's too much. You really do need to vary your menu and offer other alternatives. We ended up eating out a lot as we couldn't face 3 weeks of the same food. Luckily eating out was so ridiculously cheap otherwise having paid a lot for All-Inclusive, we would have not been at all happy. We would like to send our thanks too some very special staff who were absolutely fantastic . Firstly, the beautiful Trisha, always a beaming smile and such a lovely lady. Secondly Clifford who kept up entertained in the bar in the evenings - you will get to Bali one day! We did enjoy our holiday and it was truly relaxing which is just what we wanted. Would we stay here again??? I don't think so. The restaurants we can highly recommend are Horizon Grill , just up the road from the hotel on the left hand corner. Ruffles and Inferno.

We booked a twin centre holiday with TUI and after spending 5 glorious nights in South Gos at the Heritage Hotel, we were then taken to Whispering Palms. OMG what a dive! Dirty paintwork, a tiny pool, and very little choice of food or drinks. Also uneven flooring, which was a trip hazard, and exposed wiring by the swimming pool, which was completely dangerous. I complained immediately to the Rep, who confirmed that this isn’t a 4 * star hotel, which is what TUI claimed it was, and refused to move us. Therefore after spending over £4200 on the holiday all I was offered was 2 half price day trips, which totalled £212.Disgusting!

Places was very inviting from the time we got there till our departure day Front office staff amazing always had a smile when we were greeted Breakfast - good variety and tasty , attentive staff Room was immaculate throughout our stay Bar service at the pool was slow and some of the bar tenders did not know there drink !! but that is more of a training requirement
