The Location

Male member of staff on reception, very rude and abrupt very unhelpful Some Breakfast items missing and it was lukewarm.

The room was nice, the bed was comfortable to get a good night's sleep. The reception staff were amazing.

The breakfast was really cold, not nice eating cold hash brown, or cold scrambled eggs.

Really clean, modern and comfortable. During the heatwave it was fantastic to have air conditioning. Also a great pub called The Star in Geddington just over a mile away, well worth a visit.

Breakfast was terrible. Everything had run out and was not replenished until we asked. No cutlery and tables were not cleared by staff in the whole time we were at breakfast. Upon check in it would have been nice if the receptionist smiled and made us feel welcome!

Staff are always friendly, breakfast was great and room was very clean. Will definitely be back soon

The only draw back, which wasn’t their fault was lady next door was making loud noises until 1am. I was stressed and have Autism . Hotel staff would have moved me but I was settled in had my medication I couldn’t face it.

Everything you needed

I did try to make changes to my booking so instead of my booked room for 3 people, I wanted to change the room to 2 people and add a room for 1. I emailed and they said if I called they could sort, but then on the phone I was told I couldn’t change, only add, which I did, but it made it an expensive trip. Therefore I won’t use booking.com for HIE again.
