Near dance festival we was attending. Easy check in

Easy check in. Quite and fairly clean.

Convenient location

Blocked toilet. The breakfast area a little bit to small and scrambled eggs were cold and very watery. Checked out delayed due to staff shortages.

Nothing

We arrived at the hotel to be told they were full and there wasn’t a room for us. They did arrange alternative accommodation at their ‘sister’ hotel and although it was a much better quality hotel it did mean we had to travel an extra 7 miles out of our way to stay at this hotel and no apology or acceptance of blame was offered. I will never book to stay there again.

The staff took payment from me twice. I booked through booking.com and paid there, then I was charged again at the hotel. The receptionist asked me to pay, and I told her I had already paid on Booking.com. When I asked for a refund, she said she would process it, but I’m still waiting. She is at reception and seems busy, but I believe resolving this issue should be a priority. I don’t understand their system.
