Filipe at reception is excellent, breakfast is amazing, rooms are really spacious, bathroom too and the internal pool is like 30 degrees Celcius. Lots of restaurants within 5 min walk. You can park on the street for about 2 hours for 1 Euro, or also at the hotel garage. The only drawback was the weather and rain but what can one do. Madeira is amazing. Rent a car and drive around!

Just left Pestana Promenade and we're sorry to say goodbye. Our room was clean, roomy and well taken care of. We enjoyed both pools and the indoor heated pool as well as the hot tub, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was an event to look forward to. Lots of choices in a beautiful setting with GREAT service. Andrew was especially kind to us. The hotel is situated outside of the main area of Funchal but 2 busses take you to to center in minutes. Dalila was so helpful in planning our days. Everyone there works so hard to make your stay enjoyable. The gardens are beautiful and well taken care of. You can tell great care is taken to keep this place beautiful. I hope we get to come back as I was so sad to leave.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The location is beautiful, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The spa facilities were excellent, and the pools were beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help. It was my birthday during the stay, and they surprised me with champagne and fresh fruits in the room, which made me feel truly special and added a lovely personal touch. Breakfast had a great variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Madeira.
