Pestana Promenade Ocean Resort Hotel

Servicen og hotellets personale var virkelig søde hjælpsomme. Rengøringen er i top, og poolområdet er klasse med masser af plads, liggestole og top notch udsigt til Atlanterhavet.

Det som andre siger: Sengene er for hårde til mit legeme og savner en topmadras. Støj fra naboer og cheesy underholdning til 23 hver eneste aften. Det sidste er lidt et mysterie, hvorfor hotellet holder fast i dette, for der var sjældent noget publikum.

Afstand naar de stad. Had een ander Pestana Hotel in gedachten, zelf dus verkeerd geboekt. Andere was niet mogelijk bij Booking.

The hotel has beautiful ocean view. We had a balcony in our room with an ocean view. The breakfast room where you can sit inside and outside is also lovely. You can sit outside and again see the ocean. The breakfast is varied. Moreover, there is always a lot of fresh fruit, different types of bread, and, most importantly, fresh juices. The staff is all very friendly and welcoming and do their best to help with every issue. Phillip and Diana and another lady in guest relations helped us a lot with excursions and finding out various phone numbers, and Andrew at breakfast and dinner always took good care of us and our daughter, and , again, always very friendly. The most important thing: the heated pool inside is really warm (some days cooler that the others) and jacuzzi is big and nice. We ate a few times at the restaurant in the evening - very nice! Both kitchen chefs are very good. Dont't forget to do a Pestana membership card upon arrival to get a 10 % discount in the restaurant. The bus connection to the city is OK, but has a few issues, so we mostly used bolt, as there were 3 of us.

Minor issues. On some days you had to wait for a long time for the hot water if you got up early, before 8:00. Sometimes the bathrobes and bath towels were not put anew in the room and you had to ask for them. But, again, the staff went out of their ways to help even with these minor things.

Nice **** Hotel, we did have a good stay. The hotel is well located to use it as a hub to discover the Island
